Ranking High on Google Mobile Searches?

Google search algorithms are changing again.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise since Google is constantly modifying their efforts to make users’ search experiences better.  But you may want to pay closer attention to this update, especially if you want to be ranking high on google mobile searches.

On April 21, Google will begin implementing a major update to its mobile search algorithm, an update that could impact businesses large and small. Websites that are not considered “mobile-friendly” or don’t perform well on mobile phones will drop down Google’s mobile search rankings, which would ultimately result in lower traffic to those sites.

With so much emphasis focused on placing high in search rankings, this update will certainly shake things up, forcing some businesses to make significant changes to their current websites. Fortunately, this change will only affect mobile search results at this point.

To determine whether your current business website is considered mobile-friendly by Google, you can use Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test.

If your website is not classified as mobile-friendly, you are welcome to contact our agency for further website analysis.

We’d be happy to answer your questions and offer possible solutions to ensure your business and website is prepared for the future of mobile search.
